A NOTE FROM ME
You already know I won't list a place I haven't stayed. This spring I thought I found our base on the coast. I loved it. I wanted it to work. Ultimately, however, it didn't. So I found another place that I love and I'm going in October to confirm.
THE SHAPE OF THE WEEK
Some trips begin with a packing list. This one begins with a feeling — the one that arrives when the road runs out and there's nothing between you and the ocean but light, wind, and time.
Our first journey of the season starts in Lisbon and ends where the Alentejo folds into the Atlantic. May on this coast has its own kind of quiet: the crowds haven't arrived, the days run long, and the whole landscape feels like it's waking up alongside you.
Come along. We saved you a seat.
MAY 28, 2027
Meals included: dinner
LISBON ARRIVAL
Nothing is asked of you, but a welcome dinner where a table of near strangers quietly starts turning into something else.
MAY 29, 2027
Meals included: breakfast, dinner
LISBON ON THE INSIDE
After breakfast, we walk the city with a local queer guide — the Lisbon that isn't in any guidebook. The history and corners that are ours. The afternoon is yours. Dinner is somewhere intimate.
MAY 30, 2027
Meals included: breakfast, lunch, dinner
SOUTH TO THE COAST

We drive south the slow way, the Alentejo opening around us, and settle into our home base on the Atlantic — the whole place just for us. On the way, we stop at a local restaurant for fish caught that day. We arrive at our accommodations for the next four nights with time to unpack before meeting for dinner under the stars.
MAY 31, 2027
Meals included: breakfast, lunch, dinner
OPEN + UNHURRIED
The first full day is yours to take slowly. Swim, sit in the sauna, find the yoga deck before the others are up. Some of the wildest beaches in Portugal are minutes away — a river that meets the ocean, a cove beneath red cliffs, a long sweep of sand with no one on it. Or we walk a stretch of the old fishermen's path above the water, the Atlantic falling away beside us. We eat at the house, in no hurry at all.
JUNE 1, 2027
Meals included: breakfast, lunch, dinner
DEEPLY ROOTED
Today, we start with a slow morning and a cooking class held at the accommodations under the pergola. In the evening, we go out to one of the local restaurants and a slow sunset.
JUNE 2, 2027
LAST NIGHT ON THE COAST
Meals included: breakfast, lunch, dinner
Our final morning is open — a last swim, a last walk, the beach one more time. We come together that evening for the farewell to the coast: a candlelit table and a tasting menu drawn from local ingredients.

JUNE 3, 2027
Meals included: breakfast, lunch, dinner
RETURN TO LISBON
We return to Lisbon for one last night. The rest of the day is left to wander or rest, and then a final dinner — the table now full of people you'll keep.
JUNE 4, 2027
Meals included: breakfast
UNTIL NEXT TIME
Slow morning, goodbyes, departures. You leave with a group thread that doesn't go quiet, and a promise to see each other soon.
WHAT IT COSTS + WHAT IT HOLDS
$7,500 per person — your own room included.
A few rooms are made for two. If you're coming with someone — a partner, the friend you've traveled with for years, the sister you chose — you can share, at $7,200 each.
This is the founding season, and this is the price. Trusting something new, before there's much to go on, is its own kind of courage - this rate is how I thank the women who come first.
That number holds nearly everything the week is made of: seven nights between Lisbon and the Atlantic coast, a house held only for us, the people and tables I've chosen by hand, the roundtrip travel from Lisbon to the coast and back, and me.
An intimate group - fourteen at most, and confirmed once a small founding group has gathered. Your place is held with a deposit once I've welcomed your request, and the balance comes due closer to May.
What's included:
-
Seven nights in boutique, independent stays — your own apartment in Lisbon and private suite on the coast in the place held just for us.
-
All in-country travel once we leave Lisbon.
-
Every breakfast, and most lunches and dinners — including welcome and farewell dinners.
-
Every experience on the itinerary: the local queer city guide, the cooking class.
-
A private room as standard — never shared unless you choose.
-
Founder-led from beginning to end.
What's not included:
-
Your flights to and from Portugal.
-
Travel insurance — required, and easy to arrange.
-
The few optional experiences I'll always name as optional.
-
Meals not listed in the itinerary.
-
Anything personal you pick up along the way
WHAT'S SET, WHAT'S COMING
The coast, the cohort, and the shape of the week are set — your dates, your price, nearly everything. What I'm still confirming is the home on the coast: I wasn't satisfied with where I stayed in May, so I'm going back in October to get it right.
As for why the names aren't here yet — our hosts and the places we stay are independent people who take real pride in their work, not stops on a tour. I share their names once you've secured your seat, because by then you're one of us: someone who'll hold them as carefully as I do.
Request your seat and I'll bring you along as it comes together — including the day I can finally name the places you'll call home.
It starts as a request, not a payment. You request your seat; nothing is due until I've welcomed you in. A 25% deposit of the total trip then holds your seat, A second payment of 50% of the total trip is due 90 days before departure and the remaining balance is due 60 days before departure. I'll always tell you what's due and when, well ahead of time — you'll never be left guessing.
What your price holds. $7,500 per person, private room standard — or $7,200 each when two of you share. Nearly everything once you land is included: your stays, in-country travel, every breakfast and most meals, and every experience on the itinerary. Your flights to and from Portugal are yours to book.
Travel insurance is required. I ask every guest to carry comprehensive cover — trip cancellation, medical, and evacuation — and to send proof before we travel. It's the one thing I won't make optional, because it's what protects you if life interrupts the trip.
If the trip can't run. This journey needs a minimum of nine guests. If we don't reach it, — your money comes back in full.
BOOKING & TERMS

STAY A LITTLE LONGER
Some women aren't ready to leave when the week ends — and some don't want to arrive in a rush.
So I'll hold a little more for you, on either end.
Open in Lisbon.
Come a night or two early; stay a day or two after. Find your feet in the city before the group gathers, on your own slow terms — no jet lag at the welcome table. Stay later; real life can wait a day or two longer.
Stay on at the Coast.
Linger on the coast after the others head home, or experience it for the first time. Concrete, light, and silence, with the coast a short drive away. A morning or two more, with nowhere at all to be.
Maybe somewhere else? Porto perhaps or one of the islands?
These are arranged one at a time, around availability and the season — tell me when you request your seat, and I'll take care of the rest.
MORE QUESTIONS?
7 nights · 9–14 women · Lisbon + Atlantic Coast · Gentle pace · Solo travelers welcome
-
How fit do I need to be? Gentle. We wander Lisbon, swim, and walk the wild coast at low tide — easy, salt-air days, not a hiking trip. If you can manage a relaxed day on your feet and a sandy scramble down to a beach, you're set. Tell me about any access needs when you inquire and I'll be straight with you about what works.
-
Will the water be warm enough to swim? May on the Atlantic is bracing, not balmy — exhilarating if you go all in, beautiful even if you just put your feet in. That first cold plunge, though, is the point.
-
What will the weather be like? Spring on the coast: long light, warm afternoons, cooler mornings and evenings. A layer for dinner, swimwear for the day. Full packing note once you book.
Prefer to talk it through first? Let's talk.
